Villagia is first and foremost about WORRY FREE living. The building is set up to be very functional, with bright colors that enhance private and group living. But it's the staff that makes the difference. Their sole purpose and priority is to ensure that residents are guaranteed a comfortable, safe, versatile and enjoyable living environment. Meet our staff:
Jean-Philippe Grossi, General Manager
Mr. Grossi joined the Villagia team as Executive Director in September 2016. He is a graduate of the Lausanne School of Business and of the largest hotel and catering school in Europe, École Hôtelière de Lausanne. Mr. Grossi participated in the management of a 5 star hotel in Geneva from 1992 to 1998. He arrived in Montreal in 1998 where he worked in the customer service and international event management industry as a senior manager. In 2007 as Executive Director, he orchestrated the opening and the launching of a high-end retirement residence in Laval. He has worked as Executive Director in different retirement residences ever since.

My role is to ensure customer service and offer a personalized service. I am able to be connected and understand the special requests of the residents and families. I am also available to accompany and answer the needs of the families in difficult times.

Denis Perillo, Executive Chef
As Executive Chef, I am responsible for the restaurant service of the whole residence which includes the outdoor BBQ, the private rooms, the dining room, the organization of the theme evenings and the everyday tables d’hôtes. I am familiar with the latest cuisine trends and committed to offering healthy and well-balanced meals. Mindful of customer satisfaction, I am always searching to improve restaurant services in order to better answer our customers’ requirements.
Caroline Tétrault, Nursing Director
Heading an extraordinary team of healthcare professionals who is available 24h and 7 days to answer all emergencies or your health concerns. I make sure of the comfort and quality of life of each resident in the Provitalia unit and I am sensitive to the needs of our Villagia residents. I am always available to answer all your health, medication and appointment with our doctor questions and present to you all our available à la carte services in the comfort of your apartment.
Fanny Hamel Giroux, Recreation Leader
At Villagia de l’Île Paton, we have varied programming which consists of recreational, athletic, social, cultural and intellectual activities which correspond to each of our residents’ expectations. This programming is developed from suggestions made by the residents, activities committee and our more than 20 years of experience. All of our activities are announced in our activities booklet which is published every month. At all times, I am available to answer your questions and hear your suggestions.
Activities & Events Coordinators
Our coordinators are responsible for the activities and various services at Villagia. With their different backgrounds, they come experienced in physical, cultural and artistic activity management.
They are skilled and proficient at mobilization, job coaching, interpersonal communication, conflict management, community response, crisis management and first aid.
Villagia and its residents can count on them to plan, organize and lead activities, provide transportation, and work with residents to manage their special requests.
